No, my big girls don't have a fly.--Just looked at my post from earlier and noticed I had written daughters as "daughter's" as if they possessed a fly! Haha! Then noticed a couple more typos as I went ahead and reread the post. I have corrected them now (or at least the ones I saw). ;) Not that all my other posts are typo-free, but maybe I do better writing in the wee hours of the morning...or maybe I had more typos in this one bc I was writing it outside where my sweet Sunshine was shining so bright on my screen and in my eyes. :)

Sitting at our kitchen table reading a morning devotional a few minutes ago, I hear swings creaking and a voice singing. I peek out and through the open screen door I hear Brooklan say, "Are you coming out Mommy?" Sitting out here now...such a perfect, beautiful morning out and my big girls are swinging...legs kicking up and hair flying in the wind as they swing. I knew it was supposed to be a nice day, but Gary with the "most accurate forecast" said it was supposed to be completely cloudy, too. BUT My Sunshine is shining through. :) As I watch my big girls swing, I think about all my girls. Flying. As I think about how this is the closest my big girls will come to flying before they fly to heaven one day to meet their little sister, tears well up in my eyes. Now both my big girls are on each side of me, sitting on our old big porch swing I had on our farm when I was growing up. I love it. So ready to enjoy this beautiful day...especially because I head back to work tomorrow. I was supposed to take 12 weeks off with Avelyn, but after 8 weeks, I will head back tomorrow. I think the routine will be good, but I will miss moments like this with ALL my girls. So thankful I won't be working long days and I only work 3 days a week, so I will still get to experience more moments like these!!

I have always thought that holding a sleeping baby is one of the, if not the, best moments in this earthly world. Today I am adding to this list...watching your children swing, or as I will now think of it, watching my daughters 'fly.' So many moments like this I notice more these days, as I watch Ailiana run across the green grass, hair blowing in the breeze, her 'bouncing' as always, wearing the same pink and white striped dress she wore the day her baby sister flew to heaven. Brooklan hanging upside down on the rings, her feet getting stuck as she tries to work them out. And a little bird making a loud chirping noise as she flies across the yard. :) This challenging journey we have been on has definitely opened my eyes to better see and experience moments like these.

The voice I heard singing when I was sitting at our table earlier and heard the swings creaking was my oldest daughter singing 'Amazing Grace' as they swang. And right after this as I look out the screen door, my middle daughter begins singing 'Let it Go' and then my older daughter joins in too. I'm sure their baby sister was singing right along with them. :)
